Ming Ng has quietly redefined what “effortless beauty” means.
Eight years into her journey in the permanent beauty industry, she’s perfected over 4,000 pairs of brows—each one a testament to her gentle hand and artist’s eye. As the visionary behind Moai Beauty and the driving force expanding Moai Academy, Ming specializes exclusively in Nano brows, leaving behind the heavier strokes of microblading to focus on the subtlest, most natural enhancements.
A Communications graduate from UC San Diego, Ming cut her teeth in digital advertising before trading pixels for pigments in Burlingame. Today, her signature is a soft, hair-like finish that feels born, not made—streamlining everyone’s morning routine into a moment of quiet confidence.
Off the clock, Ming answers to a different boss: her spirited three-year-old son, whose laughter doubles as her favorite travel soundtrack. Together, they chase new flavors of ice cream around the globe, turning every weekend into a mini-adventure and reminding Ming that the best stories often begin with a single, shared scoop.
Gloria
After working in the dental field for 18 yrs, Gloria’s desire to make others feel confident, makeup-free, led her to pursue her passion in cosmetic art.
Her goal is to enhance ones own natural beauty using semi-permanent makeup techniques and color theory, creating brows for each face with its own, unique shape.
During her free time, Gloria likes spending time with family, dining out with friends, and binge-watching a show or two. She’s also always up for suggestions on where to travel next!
Fatimah
Born in the Philippines, Fatimah worked for 6 years in the corporate service industry but has been passionate about art and beauty since high school. She took a leap of faith and decided to follow her passion, becoming a full-time makeup artist in 2017.
She’s currently studying Esthiology in Cinta Aveda San Francisco, working towards becoming a licensed esthetician in 2021 and has also added another beauty skill under her belt – semi-permanent makeup. She prides herself in creating natural work, both in makeup and semi-permanent makeup, helping her clients be their most beautiful self by accentuating their innate beauty.
Fatimah also enjoys modeling and singing, having done a couple of TV and digital advertisements as well as performing in events and other gigs.

Looking ahead, Ambria aspires to support disadvantaged individuals in preparing for important milestones through nonprofit work

At Moai, she brings a personalized, no-pressure approach to beauty and develops programs at Moai Beauty Academy, helping Ming mentor the next generation of artists. Outside the studio, Teodora is passionate about skiing and traveling, always seeking new experiences and inspiration.
